Should I be prepared for low return rates this summer?

Incoming SA at a BB. Given everything going on right now as well as the predicition of an recession coming, should I be prepared for low return offers this summer?

If so, what should I do in advance to hedge against this possibility of low return rates (e.g., start networking everywhere right now, start recruiting for other FT opps before the internship begins/ends, etc)?

Would appreciate any opinions and perspectives on this.

Feel the same bro. It would be so Fked up to go through all the recruiting hassles and internship prep just for a temp 2 month internship with no FT offer.
