Should I Crystalize Single Stock Gains Ahead of Start Date?

Starting in late July at a BB and I already need to change brokerages from Robinhood, so would probably do this at the same time if it's best. From what I've been told, I'll effectively be limited to buying whole market ETFs once I start regardless of my coverage.

I have some positions outside my coverage that have done well over the last 10ish years and while I don't think they've hit top, I also don't want to be in a position where I'm locked into them when i do want to sell.

Anyone here been in this situation? How did you approach it?
