sibling wants to use me(incoming SA) as point of contact when networking

My brother goes to a non target diff school than me and has exhausted his alum list. He asked me if I could introduce him to ppl I networked w last year and I told him it probs wasn’t a good idea for banks I turned down/didn’t advance far into process w + I mostly networked w target school club alum.

However for the firm I signed w (a more non target friendly EB based on WSO previous posts) I can ask my referrers who I’d say liked and vibed w me but not super close to. would it be beneficial for him for me to introduce them or would reflect poorly for not being able to network  at the firm himself? Would this affect me in return if he does poorly? I ask because I’m 100% sure my contacts are getting flooded w networking requests( was asked by firm to attend campus info session and the room was packed to point of bulging)

Yes, it would help him. Obviously. No, it does not look weird. I had an MD (different bank, family friend and mentor of mine) ask me to speak to his good friends son...people do this stuff all the time.

Yes, it reflects poorly on you if he shits the bed. Just train him up on networking

For the contacts you were super close with I would do it because there is really no harm, but coming from someone who landed an EB offer from a firm that was more non-target friendly as well...he'll just have to network. I exhausted my network as well and just had to start cold networking. It's possible!

can I ask for him were you cold emailing Anyone you could find or other non target schools?
