Sophomore Fall Internship?

As it says in the title, is it smart to have an internship during your sophomore fall? For context, I am a current freshman and already have a wealth management internship for this summer, but I have done no other internships. Is it too overwhelming to have to deal with an internship in the fall on top of recruiting? Does the benefit of doing an internship outweigh the extra work you have to do? What has been your experience with this if you have had an internship then?

Not necessary. If you’re recruiting IB/PE/HF then the fall will be your busiest semester of college. Lock in your interview performance and network well
