Spinning of "Internship" Experience

Hey Guys, UG Junior here. Have been networking very actively to break into IB.

Have got 4 internships. 3 have been in finance. However, one of the "internship" wasn't actually one. It was a full time gig at Fortune 100 company, in their BPO (basically a call center).

I had networked with the guy who was the head of the country operations. Since I didn't have any other Internship offers in my freshman year I had to settle for the call center gig lol.

The director told me it would help me and add credibility to my CV, given its a F100 firm.

Now, how do I spin it off in interviews? So far I've described it as a Summer Analyst role and don't talk much about it and have steered clear.

But, now that I have interviews lined up for FT roles, it's just a matter of time , someone goes in detail to talk about it.

What do I do? My options:- 1. Continue to describe it as an internship and build a very solid story around it. Though all the proofs I have are, clearly mention customer care professional and FT role.

  1. Be open and upfront about it. if I chose this option, how do I tie it to my interest in IB?

  2. Remove the experience all together from my CV. But the brand name does carry value (significant).

  3. Any other options, you guys suggest?

Any help appreciated.

thanks.
