Starting Full Time in IB with MS Finance in US as a German student

Hi Monkeys,

First of all, thank you all for your discussions - they have always been very helpful so far. It's my first post on the forum and would be really happy to hear your opinions. I am planning to start in IB M&A in the US in summer 2022 and have two questions.

I study Finance in Frankfurt, Germany at a Target Business School and will go to the US for a Master in Finance with a scholarship starting in fall 2021. I have the following universities in my sights and partly first acceptances: University of Illinois (Gies), Ohio State (Fisher), Michigan-Dearborn, Boston College, Bentley (McCallum) and Fordham (Gabelli). My first question is which uni would you choose purely from the perspective of getting into IB and in what rank?

On my experience: 2 corporate banking/midcap structured finance internships in an international bank, 2 tier 2 IB M&A internships, 1 PE small/midcap cap internship, 1 corporate M&A in tier 1 auto industry with high deal flow.

Since I didn't have time for an IB Summer Internship this summer, I will have to apply as a Full Time Analyst. My goal is to start as an IB Analyst in the US after my Master (Summer 2022). Networking early and mastering all technical/personal fit interview questions is something I am aware of.

My question is more about when is the right time to apply Full Time and if there are tricks and tips to network efficiently in the US with BB/EB recruiters? What are the best ways to do this?

I would really appreciate an answer and the exchange
