State of BMO Capital Markets 2021

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on how BMOM&A is doing in this year and the outlook for next - usual suspects re. deal flow / comp / exit opps? Also, international / EU office info would be greatly appreciated

Haven't heard much about their Europe practice - care to provide some more color if possible?

From what I've heard / know, their global M&M business is #1 which translates into some strong EU / UK mandates due to their precedents and expertise in the sector. Recently set up infra team with poached RBC MDs and juniors and starting to gain traction there. O&G v strong like M&M and good European presence with some high profile deals done. Culture seems top quality

Can anyone confirm the following comp and hours for BMO

Corporate Banking:

Analyst - 2.5 years (85k, 90k)

Associate -2.5 years (170k, 180k)

VP - 4+ years (225k,250k,275k,300k)

MD - 500+k

Hours are 9-7pm at analyst 9 - 6pm at associate 9-5pm at VP

Investment Banking:

~$125-200k Analyst 1-3

~$225-450k Associate 1-3

~$450-650k VP1-3

Anyone know if Metals and Mining teams are an outlier to the above?
