STAY in IB, or EXIT to PE?
With the changes to the IB lifestyle (significantly higher pay & improved WFH, WLB capabilities) what do you guys think is the best move?
Let us say with the final bump of ASO pay/ bonus that certain IBs can pay comparable to MF Aso. What is the rational for staying or leaving? What is the difference in LT earnings/ happiness? Please explain your reasonings/ experiences. Thanks!

Drop the bank?
PE is a bit more prestigious. Also PE has higher upside potential (partner at PE firm makes way more than MD at an IB) but lower chance of success
