Summer'27 IB Internship's Possible?

Im currently a rising junior at a non-target in D.C and am curious if it is still possible based on where I am to get a summer'27 IB internship. At first I wanted to pursue a career in wealth management since a lot of people from my school did it and I wanted to be realistic. After networking with some people in the field I realized this might not be for me. Unfortunately I made the realization a bit late and now that I did more research and realized I actually want to get into IB my concern if it is even realistic to still pursue. I have completely crossed out BB's and EB's for now and I would honestly be more than happy at a regional boutique or (Best case scenario) a middle-market or lower middle-market bank. I have also heard a bit about DCM but to my understanding that still requires going through the IB recruiting process.
