Sweatiest Industrials Groups | Chicago
I just started doing IB in Chicago. Our industrials group is definitely the most intense group. Is this true across the board in Chicago? If so, what firms have the sweatiest cultures in their industrials groups. Consumer and healthcare groups seem more reasonable in terms of culture and work / life balance.
Industrials groups tend to have a lot of end market coverages so that's why it's sweaty.
What bank you at
Nah at my MM industrials is about on par with HC/Tech
UBS known to be very sweaty for not any good deals. A lot of pitches for corporates and some small wealth management client deals which on average are around 100-200million. Not the best experience for a junior
Sounds so much Baird, half of the time just quitted
Baird/HL Chicago are complete sweatshops. WB seems to be much better culture-wise (but like any shops can be busy at times).
WB has an industrials group?
They call it Industrial Growth Products
HL Industrials is a sweatshop
How is HL Industrials in Chicago, WLB/comp/culture/exits?
