Switching Divisions before internship.
Has anyone heard of incoming interns switching divisions?
Context: I was in a sophomore program at a BB for IB Capital Markets and made it to the superday but got rejected. Was referred to S&T and got the offer (Summer 2026). I want to get into LevFin post graduation and was wondering if I can switch into Capital Markets before the internship starts. The recruiter told me they don't finish their analyst class size until December of this year. Thoughts?
