Take Private - Football field chart?
Hi Monkeys,
I have a conceptual question after working on a recent pitch book.
If someone considers acquisition of a publicly listed company in order to LBO it, which implies that one needs to pay premium above the market. Thinking in terms of the "Football Field" chart does that mean that LBO values the company higher than the trading comps?
Also, could it be the case that in take-private the LBO arrives at the highest value of all valuation methods?
