Template for creating a company profile?

Hi all. I'm not in investment banking and was just hired by a healthcare company. My boss is a former Ibanker and said that they used to create client profiles. For example, if we started a relationship with a client, we would create a presentation on who that client is and what that company does.

Does anyone have a template they could share for this on what to include or any general advice? Thank you in advance!

Found the prospect chiming in with absolutely no value to add.

To the OP here are some high level things to touch on:

  • Company essentials (HQ location, employee count, are the public / private, etc.
  • Operational: describe briefly what the company does, what their key products are, any recent M&A/funding activity etc. Maybe show a revenue breakdown by product or geography

Make it look pretty, good luck

Agree with all of the above, and would also add that we typically include any information we can find on their locations beyond the HQ (i.e. if they have manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, how many, how big, any available information on how much they cost to build etc. - may not be applicable in this case) as well as brief overview on management if available (quick one or two bullets on the CEO, CFO, any other relevant decision makers). If they are sponsor-owned, we also provide a brief background on the sponsor.

Second everything above. Would also have geographical presence, stock price performance (Relative), any manufacturing facilities, etc.
