Terrible Informational Interview

So here is the story,

I emailed a MD at a boutique investment bank. He sounded really interested and told me he would like to meet with me, when was the next time I would be in the city. Our meeting ended up getting canceled because he had to fly to CA for business as the last min. His secretary called me and said he still wanted to speak with me, could I do a phone meeting the following Monday, of course I said I would be happy to and thanks for the opportunity.

The day comes around that I am supposed to speak with him, he called and the interview went something like this.

I asked him a lot of questions, about his firm, about how he got there, what he thought was going to happen with the market, where I was currently at school at, what I was doing, did he have any advice ect. basic stuff for an informational interview. The only problem was that he only replied with 1 word answers and seemed really annoyed that he was speaking with me. The entire conversation lasted around 5 min and then I said thanks for your time, I would like to keep in touch, have a nice day.

Long story short. MD asked me to meet with him in person, meeting was canceled so we had a phone meeting instead. He sounded really annoyed that we were talking and basically did not answer any of my questions. The guy acted like an ass hole and the phone call lasted only a couple mins.

My question is, has anyone else had a guy that set up the interview themselves and then just act like a total asshole on the phone? lol I have never had this happen before and I was wondering if this happens often.
