Can’t speak to specifically to CS Calgary, but CS Toronto lost two of their top MDs recently, including their head of Energy (Tom Greenberg who went to MS) and their head of Mining (Matthew Hind who went to Scotia). Not a great sign coupled with the broader global IBD departures on the back of the archegos fiasco
They also lost their Canadian Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets (Ram Amarnath who went to RBC)
But CS is 4th in Canadian M&A so they can't be doing that bad?!
