Thoughts on "The Banking Club"? Am I being scammed?
Hi all,
I was recently emailed about a program called "The Banking Club" by one of the founders. Basically a recruitment program that helps you get offers, and you pay them a portion (10%) of your salary when you graduate if you land an offer from them. Apparently, they don't make you pay more than the deposit unless you get an offer, and refund you if you don't get anything. Founders seem like ex-IB analysts at solid banks, but they require you to pay a deposit upfront so I want to be wary. I have an interview set up soon, want to know what I'm getting into.
Don't see any information online from third-party sites so wanted to reach out here. Hopefully I don't come off as too downbad, I'm at a non-target with pretty mid application so looking for ways to optimize my chances.
Any insight is appreciated!
Bruh don't pay them. Lmao. You gotta be dumb as fuck to go for that
Alternatively, bro should do it and keep us in the loop for entertainment value
lol ill pu to the interview and let yall know what goes down
What can they help you with that is worth 10% of your salary and isn't online yet? Almost nothing.
10% LOL...don't do it. I've never heard of these guys, but the model itself seems poorly thought out. As a whole, the people who will get offers earn them on their own. This seems like a way to take advantage of non-target kids who want to break in. Do they offer a guaranteed money back, if you don't land an IB offer?
Yeah, they said they would give all the deposit back if an offer isn't landed through their resources within 12 months... but I'm not sure how they determine whether the offer came from "their resources" or otherwise
11k to get a banking offer. give me a fuking break this industry is filled with losers now
God asks for 10% .and he's God!
just read through their website, can’t believe that’s real. don’t touch that program with a 10 foot pole.
Yeah don’t do that…
Plz don’t

The only person getting 10% is my MD at Christmas time.
