What would be the modern equivalent of defunct firms for e.g., Lehman, Bear Stearns, DLJ, Drexel etc in terms of ranking, prestige etc?

Probably JEF or MOE with jefferies lacking a little on the prestige front for now

Bear Stearns - Jefferies
Lehman - Moelis (w/ bigger balance sheet)
Drexel is kinda hard to rank. They mostly specialized in the junk bond field, less on M&A.
DLJ - Maybe Evercore? Not sure. They were highly regarded, though not quite like a GS or MS
