Hey, was wondering if transcripts have been asked for incoming SA. Are they even pulled? Whats stopping people from just lying

Yes they’re pulled.. you can round up but you can’t outright lie
When are they pulled? During application? Or after offer is given

During background check. So in the month preceding your start date.
No job cares about a W on a transcript. As long as your GPA is accurate/you didn’t lie about a specific grade in a specific class if asked, and you’re on track to graduate when you said you would, you’re fine
does a transcript pull mean the bank going directly to the school to request them?
is that legally allowed and do most banks do this?
Yes, the background check form you sign allows them to request them directly from the school, along with just about anything else they'd like.
OP, no one cares about a W or individual grades. As long as you didn't lie about your GPA, you'll never even hear back about the transcript or background check. No news is good news with these things
