Transfering as a Junior from Target to Non-Target

Last year I was a sophmore recruiting IB in a private target school and was luckily enough to receive a SA offer from a NYC EB for Summer of 2026. Unfortunatley at the end of the year I ran into some family health issues that made me transfer to a non-target school closer to my hometown, as my family no longer had the means to support my education at the private institution.

My question is would transfering to a non-target school affect my chances at getting a return offer for my summer analyst program?

I would appreciate any advice or insight on this matter
