Transitioning to IB

Hi everyone. I'm a rising junior at a HYPSM undergraduate school. I just realized I don't want to do SWE, which I've spent the last 2 years preparing for (CS major) and wanted to pivot into IB --> PE which is my end goal. I'm a URM female, so in the past I shied away from high finance due to the lack of diversity, but recently realized that I prefer investment and business roles and want to pursue it regardless. I'm well aware that the deadline for most / all IB roles are closed and that SA roles usually convert to FT roles, so I'm really worried and wondering if there's anyway to still make it work? I also have the option of taking an extra year to get my masters if needed to get more time to recruit.
