Treasury/Trade Solutions Citi Thoughts
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this group at Citi? It sounds a little like Commercial Banking, is that right? They do Trade Finance, Commercial Cards, Supply Chain Finance, Export Financing.
Any idea on exit opps? Could getting into corporate banking be feasible from this group?
TTS is basically corporate banking already. Like what the department name says, it's literally offering treasury and trade finance/supply chain finance solutions to corporate clients.
Hey thanks for the answer. Looked up some other posts on it.
I heard it was kind of boring and not too much like corporate banking, although you can make the move into corporate banking afterwards.
.
It’s a product group that partners with corporate banking coverage. They specialize in exactly what you said. Citi probably does it pretty well given their global presence. Kind of niche, but it’s an important part of the financial world and can be interesting at times.
