What's UBS looking like recently? Thought they were on a positive trend pre-TMT slaughter by SVB. Is Industrials still their top group?

At ubs and getting rocked. Keep working until 3am every night. 20 hr day on mlk day.
They preach this bank is a lifestyle bank but thats not what I have experienced.
Moelis experience without the moelis exit opps and pay
Damn that blows. Are you looking to jump ship then? R u looking to lateral to another bank or r u shooting for PE
Will say this will be very team / vertical / deal dependent. I personally haven't worked more than 60-70 hours a week the last few months at UBS, and know others in my shoes but also some analysts working hours you've described. Luck of the draw I guess
What group are you in?
Rebuilding the tech side slowly, think they are doing decent in general

UBS gets a lot of criticism on this site, but it's still a solid bank with some solid groups that can exit well. Still a great bank to have on your resume and groups like M&A, LevFin/Sponsors, TMT (NY) have seen good exits in the past few years. Names like CD&R, Thoma, KKR, New Mountain have all been placed into recently
Is NYC TMT at UBS still good
What about the London office? Heard it’s a cool environment (not in sweaty Canary Wharf) and people seem nice.
