UBS Seniors going to MM Shops
Wanted to get thought on the fact that some lower tier MM shops are bringing on UBS seniors. Could this be advantageous for the MM shops?
I know this forum hates on UBS excessively and for good reason for sure, but these lower tier MM shops aren’t much better in terms of deal flow. So the addition of certain UBS seniors seems like it could open up a lot of doors for them in terms of relationships, and overall just implementing a more structured investment banking practice.
A couple MM exmaples that have done this are: KeyBanc, Lincoln, Citizens
