Undegrad for IB: Rutgers Business School vs Fischer Business School (OSU)

Currently a high school senior deciding whether Fischer School of Business or Rutgers Business School would be the better choice for getting into investment banking. Rutgers would be state tuition and I would have to pay out of state tuition for OSU. Which one would make it easier to break into Wall Street?

Both have a good amount of Alumni on the street. Honestly, breaking onto the street you probably will be fine either way.

Do a analysis of price per each school, look into clubs, and decide on the school that fits you the best. If you are in an environment that you enjoy you will do better.

Rutgers is probably going to be slightly easier to break in because it is a 1hr drive rather than a flight or a multi day trip.

Yeah you're right about the proximity to NYC but the thing with Rutgers is that there are hundreds of people who want to go into IB whereas at OSU, there would be a smaller pool of people, which would be better for standing out.

There will always be "alot" of people who want to go into IB and you are going to have to be top of your class network and have strong extracurriculars no matter where you go to school. Additionally, you are always competing against thousands of grads from across the nation who will be high performers.

Besides, both schools you are going to be a guppie in a ocean as they both have massive student bodies.
