Undergrad Classes to take?
I'm a sophomore at a non-target and (at this point) will double major in finance & accounting. I am currently registered for a minor in economics.
Here are my questions- 1. Do you think I would be better suited double majoring in finance & econ or accounting & econ? 2. If not, should I drop the econ, take some additional econ classes and sprinkle in some math courses? 3. I'm looking at the math courses, and thinking that Calc II and mathematical finance would definitely be useful. Would courses like game theory and/or real analysis be useful?
I'd appreciate any feedback.
finance, econ, accounting, and math will all help you. by how much varies depending on what you want to do. accounting is critical for all analysts though. math would be more for S&T.
Thanks. Yeah, I forgot to specify. I'm definitely leaning more towards IBD at this point.
then take as much accounting as you can. it'll make the transition during your first year as analyst much easier.
