Unemployment-maxxing
Interned last summer at BB, effectively graduated early and have been searching for a full time role. Done tons of internships and full resume. Returning nex year FT, but need a job in the meantime.
Ive sent 2000+ applications, 100+ emails, done 14+ interviews for any kind of role in any state at any company. Nearly all interviews have been for $20 / hour fp&a or accounting roles, rejected from all. Sometimes not even making it through HR screen, despite interviewing totally chill just like I would freshman year.
Am I missing something? Is it even worth applying to any kind of finance role? And I can't work at Wendy's, not because I don't want to, but because the salary wouldn't cover rent + credit card interest.
Any tips for getting a job for a year? Is it even worth applying / emailing for any kind of fp&a role? I cant do another banking job, since id be leaving it to return to firm next year. Thx!
