Unsure if I'm waitlisted or not

Had a superday with a BB about 1.5 weeks ago, and haven't heard anything from the firm. I know of people who got rejection letters, but I don't know if anyone has gotten an offer yet.

Does this mean I'm on the waitlist? The bank had an additional superday after mine, so would that cause them to delay their response?

I'm unsure what to think/do, especially since I don't have any other interviews in the works.

Means you are on the fence / on hold / effectively “wait listed”. They are waiting to see how many accept offers compared to available spots.

I come here when I'm bored....

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. It means that they sent out all their offers for the current round and are waiting to see how many people accept the offers before they expire (usually 1-2 weeks). Best thing to do is to reach out to everyone you spoke to and let them know of the situation/reaffirm your interest. After the current offers expire, they’ll start to go down the list of people on hold. Having those conversations with people on the inside might get them to advocate for you/move you to the top of the holding list. Best of luck

Thanks for the insight. Should I wait until after 2 weeks have passed (the timeline HR gave for a response) or should I email the people I had the best conversations with now?
