Urgent Advice Needed on Course of Action

Hey guys,

I'm starting to apply for IB internships, but I need some advice. I go to Princeton and have a stellar GPA, good extracurriculars with leadership, and am currently interning at a finance-related place. But I've done pretty much zero networking. How should I go about applying?

Do I just go to a website and drop my resume? There are also a few openings that are on Princeton's Handshake portal already. If I apply on there, do I apply on the regular website, too? Should I hurry and try to talk to some alums at these banks first before applying? I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
