URGENT Swag needs corp fin/budgeting help!!!

PLEASE PM me or post here any learning materials, crash courses, etc. you know of that teach budgeting and FP&A that could help get me through a corp fin analyst interview with only 1 day to prep (was just sprung on me). It’s been forever since I took basic budgeting and FP&A in managerial accounting, pretty much forgot it all. Thanks!!!

dude... work on your behavioral interview skills and you will be fine. extra points if you can convince them you can do magic with Excel and various enterprise systems.. but frankly the SAP/Oracle/Essbase crap you will learn on the job so i doubt they would expect you to know anything.

again, i doubt this interview will be highly technical, but at the very least brush up on basic accounting (debits and credits) and the 3 financial statements. fuck it, forget the statement of cash flows, just brush up on the income statement and balance sheet and you'll be fine.

frankly, fp&a isn't rocket science conceptually... having swag is more important.

Money Never Sleeps? More like Money Never SUCKS amirite?!?!?!?

^ in all seriousness pretty much what you should do. But if you were to ask a question, perhaps one showing you're inquisitive about learning enterprise systems wouldn't hurt. I only am familiar with Essbase myself but it's pretty awesome for financial reporting / fp&a purposes. Basically the advantages of pivot tables except switched: instead of being able to pivot data easily, you can pull data via certain criteria extremely easy. Say you have FY11 as a column and net income on a row, bam, Essbase pulls FY11 NI. Change the header to FY10 and it pulls FY10 NI instead.
