Using an LLC for Outside Business Activites
Let’s say I wanted to earn different / inconsistent streams of income doing random things like consulting, mentoring, writing on Medium, but I didn’t want to register every single source of income with my compliance department and have my managers asking about it. Can I create an LLC with a broad scope (creating media and providing consulting-related services) and only register that single business activity? Assuming I got paid by all those random activities, that would be legit, right?
