If a VP refers you this late in the process (applied 9/17) will I get an interview for an internship?

i have a referral from a really senior md in my preferred group and still havent heard back from the hirevue..wouldnt depend on anything at this point

Well, that's a huge bank so I imagine a VP referral would hold less weight. But, I imagine - if they actually like you - it will get you the first round. Which is all you need if you're qualified.

I'm non-target too... doesn't matter when you already have the interview (at least not as much).
VPs at JPM can't do anything unless its a non-NYC office
