Wake Forest MA Management
Found a few threads on this topic but they were a little dated. Only prior experience is working for a few months as a credit analyst at a regional bank ($50B assets). How much does this program move the needle vs waiting a year and applying to Vandy, Texas, UVA etc? Would prefer to work at a MM/BSB in the southeast so NYC placement is not an issue.
Feel fairly knowledgeable about the MSF route and haven’t heard of this program. Unless conversations with alumni tend to show that the program has a strong pipeline into a company or career area you are interested in, I would wait to apply for less regional programs. Not a great sign for the grad level degrees from Wake that they shut down their full-time MBA a few years ago.
The people I knew that did that program ended up in the same corporate banking program as me, which was for being credit analysts at a regional bank. Honestly, you could probably lateral if you're trying to stay in the south given how hot the market is right now.
