Ok, I have been an avid user / reader for a long time, and I think at the end of the day, this site is a great site. An incredible resource and a tour de force for all of us. And I'd like to say "hats off" to Patrick and all the key and positive posters on the site. You've really helped me in some key thought processes and advanced my thinking. I think the site has helped others more, as I already had a good clue.
But, all in all, I don't see enough people giving props to Patrick and WSO in general, so here is a huge fucking shout out and I'd like to see people pile on with praise to all involved in making this a great site and keeping it that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck all the shitters and trolls out there who try to ruin what it a great site. Power to the great posters and moderators and to Patrick himself who is a god to many investment bankers and would be investment bankers of all shapes and sizes!!!

Well, thankfully you like the other site, otherwise the gift would be less than flattering, lol.
Congrats to Patrick. Hopefully he is making some money from the site and if not, well, at least he will sleep easy at night knowing he's helped countless people get into a field that will make them contemplate suicide everynight for the next 2 years...but then eventually be thankful and happy. It all works out in the end.

Agreed. Have found it to be a great resource for a while now. I feel like the quality of the content has improved nicely over the last couple of years (though there's definitely still some room for improvement!). Also curious to know if it's profitable.

Cheers to the Certified Users and mods. They really make the site go round...somehow the new Search has only made a minor dent in the repetitive threads. I'd expect by next year we will have double the # of Certified Users which should make it even more valuable. Our traffic over 2009 YTD is up over 140%.
