WF Industrials in Charlotte - hands down, best group, tons of deal flow.

LevFin is far and away WFS's best group.

Wells is a balance sheet bank. Their M&A platform is not great; most of their deals are debt related, which means you would want to be in LevFin or Sponsors. And Wells Sponsors is pretty shitty because the firm doesn't have existing relationships with any major funds. So you want to get onto LevFin. That's where you'll actually see major dealflow.

This is true, however if you are looking to get into a coverage group at Wells Industrials is your best bet, being a debt heavy industry. Industrials is undoubtedly the strongest coverage group at WFS in terms of deal flow and deal position (left lead vs JBR manager), unless you count MMG which is product/industry agnostic

Hi,

I am interested in IB at Wells Fargo. The company recently posted a full-time S&T position on my college's career website. Do you know anything about Wells Fargo's recruiting timeline? Thanks!

No idea on the S&T side. I would be making a lateral move and this process has taken about 1.5 weeks so far (including initial phone screen, first phone interview and scheduled in-person meetings in ~2 weeks time)
