WF internal mobility
Incoming SA at Wells Fargo this summer and had a question on internal mobility after the internship.
How realistic is it to switch groups or offices for full-time if you end up wanting something different than where you interned?
Is this something that’s formal (like a structured process through HR), or more informal/networking-driven?
Would appreciate any insight from people who’ve gone through it or seen it happen.
I’ve heard that it’s very group dependent with some groups actually pushing you to lateral to the NY office FT. But bump anyways for confirmation
I know someone who was a SA at WF and wanted to move to NYC. He did FT recruiting, got an offer from a BB and then threatened to not accept his WF return offer if WF didn’t move him to NYC. It worked
know someone who got a return in charlotte and threatened not to return to the company unless they gave him nyc and was able to move
idk but i would personally take BB over WF unless it's UBS
