interesting on the weekly limit (during Covid), given that I'm sure you're working 7 days a week. If the groceries can be used for meal plans that would be nice though.
Jefferies does according to a buddy of mine there. Apparently an analyst asked Handler directly during a town-hall type meeting and a few days later he made it happen.
Must be group-dependent because I've had a very positive experience. The people in my group are great and so are most others I've interacted with from other offices/groups. People expect you to produce high-quality work and meet deadlines, but I've never been yelled at for making a mistake or not knowing the answer to something. As long as I get my work done and reply to emails, my group doesn't care if I take a vacation or go out of town for a weekend, which is nice, too.
Idk what to tell you and those downvoting. I work there, started last summer, and was told early on that we cannot order meals to our homes and that directive hasn't changed. Some people are back in the office so they would get it, but they're still not letting us order from home
I got it. I'm just saying you're supposed to buy lunch and dinner yourself with your salary. You would pay for them yourself if you worked at the office. And with WFH it makes even less sense to expect meal reimbursement because while you're working from home you can cook. Just my thoughts, you may disagree.
I agree for at home but working at a bank with those type of late hours it does make sense that they allocate some money for food i mean increases productivity.

Dude the analysts barely have time to take a dump, let alone prepare groceries and then cook numerous times a day. This is different to most other human beings who can have a life outside of work... they are on-call
They are underpaid by their banks, and late night working meals is both the norm, and minimal. Further, many of these are billed to clients as deal out of pockets...

Delete
Nope.

Damn, No wonder so many people are quitting LOL
who needs to eat when you can tell people that you work for goldman sachs
What about EVR?
$30/night, max of $100/week. Alternatively, you can get $100/week of groceries (food and beverage only).
Pre-COVID, it was $30/night dinner and an extra $20 for lunch on weekends in the office with no weekly limits.

RBC and CS don’t offer them as of now
Neither does Barclays. I’m salty lol
Same here lol
Anyone know of any of the MMs, Wells or Jefferies
WF nothing
Confirmed Wells does nothing
Jefferies does according to a buddy of mine there. Apparently an analyst asked Handler directly during a town-hall type meeting and a few days later he made it happen.
Cowen is still standard for weeknights and weekend work.
How’s the culture at Cowen? I heard that there’s a pretty tough culture there...or is it entirely group dependent?

DB?
Nothing. Have tried to get numerous times, but no success.
HL $25 a dinner after 6pm
Raymond James does not currently
JPM none from home
JPM does according to a buddy of mine there.

WFH Meal Stipend? Do you mean salary? Or maybe is there also a rent stipend?
Money for like dinner and lunch.

It’s such a basic thing to implement.
You’re a cuck
You’re not supposed to buy dinner with your salary. Banks always give meal stipends for dinners and weekends
MS - uber eats and seamless $35
You guys are getting fed??
How about HSBC?
Bump
Nothing at Citi
let's unionize
fuck citi for being cheap as fuck
So true, Citi has to be the cheapest bank on the street.
No perks and the comp isn't anything special. Work is as busy as ever so it's not there's no revenue flowing either.
Baird $30/night on grubhub
What even lay-off Baird offers stipends now? I am writing a strongly-worded letter to group head, anonymously.
Moelis NY?
Not evercore in London. what a joke.
What about Lazard? NY and SF?
$30/night during the week and weekends and $25 during the day on weekends. Limit of 4x / week (no limit before-COVID)
Does this apply to interns too? Lmao
Rothschild $35/day dinner, $35x2 on weekend days for lunch/dinner. Same as before
That’s sick
Moelis $30/night
Anything on Macquarie NYC?
$0/night
Sadness
Did this change?
Can anyone confirm the amount for Jefferies?
