What can I do to maximise my chances of exiting?

Started recently as an analyst at a top bulge bracket in London in one of their best groups and already hate it here. That being said - I am prepared to die to be one of the absolute best analysts if it means I can exit into something truly impeccable in a couple years time.

What can I do between now and when i'm a senior analyst/approaching associate to maximise my odds of exiting into some good? Couple of questions:

1.) I don't speak a European language. Will this be a deal breaker - is it worth learning a language?

2.) How do you communicate to headhunters that you were a top bucket analyst. Is that something you'll mention on your CV? Does you firm formally designate you as a top bucket analyst come bonus time?

3.) At what point in the analyst stint do you begin to seriously look for firms to exit into. I understand that it's a bit more ad hoc in Europe, but do you only start looking once you're a senior analyst mostly?

4.) What ELSE can I do to stand out in the recruitment process? Right now its all a bit confusing and the experience/skillset you get at Goldman HC vs JPM HC for example seems quite homogenous.

If someone (with relevant experience, i.e. not just the standard US 'secure your mf offer in month 1/2') could provide a few words on what I can aim towards, please share :)
