What do Coverage Groups actually do?
Maybe stupid question - but at the banks where coverage groups primarily deal with client origination, market/industry research, etc... what do you actually do? What kind of research and market analysis do you run? Etc... Assuming M&A runs the model and execution, what is your role throughout a deal? TIA.
