What happens to your deferred compensation when you get fired?
Let’s assume you’re an MD and get ejected for any reason. How does your golden handcuffs compensation is distributed?
Do you get it all at 1 point in time or you still get it on a deferred basis as if you were still employed?
Asking for a friend of course.
If you are fired with cause you lose your deferred comp, if you're made redundant you get it all paid out.
What about a “we don’t see a future for you on our platform or a path to a promotion, so you have X months to find a new job” type deal?
