What is Agency Lending in Goldman Sachs?
Basically, I submitted an application to do an off-cycle internship in Goldman in the securities division. Recently received a request to complete an interview and was told the team that I was being interviewed for was the agency lending team.
I literally have no clue what this team does. All I know is that securities lending is a service that can be offered to clients who want an additional revenue stream I guess, and it is also used in short selling.
Anyone who can offer any insight into what this team does, it would be greatly appreciated.
