What is an “Attention to detail test”

I have an upcoming interview (investment bank) that is exclusively just an “attention to detail test” with a current team member. What is an “attention to detail test” and what can I expect to be asked/perform? Any insight would be great, thank you.

It should test your ability to pay attention to detail, is my educated guess

There's no way they would just come outright and say that! It is a code name for a secret operation and the CIA will breach the premises shortly after the start to begin the real mission!!!

Evercore does these as well?? Thought it was only the middle market shops, had these for WB as part of the case study and similar shops… surprising

Feel like giving that test is an embarrassing admission by the firm about how meaningless the job is. I get that having professional looking materials is an important part of the job but have never understood the absolute preoccupation with it. Also, I assume most competent applicants are finding a similar # of errors so is this really being weighted in the offer decision?

You walk in and they throw a fist full of sand at you and ask how many grains of sand it is. If you know, you know.
