What Job Is This?

I bumped upon the following job when searching for Islamic Bank job in ASEAN region. From the description, I can't really understand what the people in this department usually does. It sounds like sales + deal origination + execution to me. Any opinion?

Corporate Client Solutions (CCS) is CIMB Group’s centralised corporate sales and marketing arm. The division was formed to offer corporate and institutional clients CIMB’s full suite of universal banking products and solutions.

CCS’ teams of dedicated professional bankers across the ASEAN region, South Asia and Middle East have diverse experience in capital market and banking engagements to assist clients to achieve their key business objectives.

Client coverage by CCS is generalised into four major specialisations, each with their distinct client focus:

Investment Banking – large and medium-sized corporations
Government Relations – federal and state-owned agencies and institutions
Regional MNC – foreign-owned multinational companies
Regional Japanese Corporates – Japanese-owned companies 

Through our regional client coverage framework and with our strong network across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, CCS is uniquely positioned to coordinate and service clients with local as well as regional presence.

Products marketed by CCS include providing a range of advisory services and solutions from general corporate exercises including strategic mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings to advising on regulatory issues affecting listed and unlisted entities.

Services for equity and equity-linked products include acting as underwriter, global co-ordinator, book runner or lead manager, originating, structuring, pricing and executing, program trades, block trades and market making via our local and regional distribution platforms to access high quality private and institutional clients.

For banking and lending, products and services delivered, amongst others, are credit facilities including structuring, underwriting and syndication, treasury, internet banking and transactional banking such as trade facilities and cash management services.

Other ancillary services marketed are custodial, trustee, agency, and fund accounting and administration.
