What Now?

I just signed my offer for SA27 a week ago and I'm still overjoyed. It was my top choice and it feels like all the work I've put in over the last 1.5 years was all worth it. Now I'm not gonna sit here and contemplate the meaning of life, I think I'll be on this high for a while but I'm just wondering what's next? How do you guys think about spending the next 2.5 years of your college experiences?

I've been spending time looking and trying to plan out how I want the first 5-10 years of my career to go in terms of thinking about on-cycle, potential MBA, location, etc. What do you guys think? What's the best way to spend this extra time while also being productive and not wasting what will probably be the most stress-free time I'll have for the rest of my life?

Take it from someone, who like you, placed my top 1 EB from a non-target and then was also thinking about everything you are. I’d grind the gym / health while you have time and spend the rest having fun and enjoying life. Definitely travel and spend time with people you want to. The day you start working you’ll be happy you enjoyed the last 2 years of college

You’ll have plenty of time for pe stuff and i’m sure when you talk to mentors they can guide you on other career choices based on what’s best for you and your interests. Take a breather and congrats on the offer!

Yea that makes a lot of sense, I think finance lends itself to the "what's next" mindset because you're always on go, but will definitely look to enjoy where I can

I did a somewhat intense program (language immersion), but even then the academics were pretty easy and would have been a joke if I was a native speaker of the country's language

If you want to just party and travel, I've heard Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Rome are all good places to be

Go abroad, get your health in top shape, have as much fun as possible (although i've personally found life to be way more fun in a T1 city with $ than college but to each their own).

only thing I would have done differently / preach would be to prep for the GMAT in college if interested in B school but i was not and am not planning to go down that route. everythign else you'll learn on the job and you're going to wish you spent less time thinking about it in college
