What time do you get to leave on the last day of SA?
I'll be doing SA at a BB in New York this summer. I go to school in the Asia Pacific, and my school's semester starts a week before SA ends. My school is super strict on attendance, but I have worked out missing that first week.
That being said, what time do you typically get to leave on the last Friday? Flying to Asia can take some time and I was wondering if I'd be able to make a 9pm from JFK then.
I'd suggest flying out on Saturday. Friday night of your last SA is really fun since everyone gets hammered etc. and you'd miss out on that + getting to say bye to your friends etc.
I would consider Saturday, but it's just that a Friday night departure would be a Sunday night arrival (time change) in Asia. I was thinking I'd want a night to rest but idk. I don't have to decide now.
Agree with the above for social reasons, if you're able to swing the timing fly out Saturday.
That said, 9pm flight would be absolutely no issue. You should be able to dip around 11/12, 3pm at absolute latest. Your email access will be gone by 5pm anyway.
