What time do you stay up looking out for emails? (Analysts)

Just starting on the job, and just wondering what the general protocol for logging off as an analyst is.Should I be waiting for associates to sign off? Or if I have no pressing deals is it reasonable to log off at a certain time?

Not trying to take a shot at you by any means as it seems you are not the only one with this mentality but it's really sad that Analysts have this much anxiety when it comes to IB. When you're done working sign off and chill, if there is anything pressing you can be reached on your phone. 9 times out of ten unless you are in the process of closing a deal or making edits to a pitch that is the following day, whatever it is can wait until morning. I know some Associates and VPs can be d-bags and want their Analysts at their beck and call 24/7 but I wouldn't say that is common place. I personally send late night emails to my Analysts all the time but I also generally tell them not to worry about it until morning unless it is urgent, then I call them to make sure they saw the email. Just talk to your Associates/VPs to figure out expectations, communication is key.
