What to ask Dartmouth Partners?

I've been through a couple of processes with Dartmouth Partners in previous cycles and am interviewing with them again soon and I never really know what to ask them at the end of the interview.

They already seem fairly uninterested but I don't understand what to ask them. If they're third-party recruiters what type of insight do they have into the firm? I can only think of bs questions like how diverse the teams are or what the headcount is..

Anyone have any ideas? Or maybe any insight into what they're looking for or what type of questions would make someone stand out.

A few questions:

  • During interviews, is there a reason why DP recruiters introduce themselves as if they work for firms? For example, 'Hey, it's X from PWP here' Is there an underlying issue at play here?
  • On a scale of bad to rubbish, how would you rate DP vs other third-party recruiters?

Also why are they all unqualified to answer basic IB questions yet can demand people to answer things like 3 financial statements (IS, BS, CFS).

I'd prefer if interviewers did know their own technicals, but alas.

Funniest

From experience they’re quite slow, try discussing their favourite colour or what they had for dinner yesterday

On a more serious note, I tend to just ask for timeline regarding next steps or anything I can help with to facilitate recruiting process
