Where to go from here - Dinged from my 3rd superday.

So I have been dinged from my 3rd superday, I attend a non-target, and my recruiting season is over. Where do I go from here? What other options for ibanking do I have? Any? I thought most of my interviews went well and I was able to answer questions correctly and thought my personality was able to come through. I am willing go anywhere to be a banker, I work really freaking hard (also a D-1 athlete) and I am actually not concerned with exit opportunities. Any help or advice is appreciated! Feel free to pm me or write on the thread. Thanks WSO!

Dinged from 3 superdays? ouch! Did you ask what got you dinged? How many firms did you apply to? Recruiting season is not officially over.

Hey Man,

I was a non-target and got dinged from a handful of superdays. At the time I honestly thought the world was over and now when I look back on it, I can't belive I got that stressed out. Anyway, first thing is take a small break from all the recruiting stuff, get your mind off it, and have a little fun. When you get back to it, maybe open your options up a little. Look into F500 positionsor consulting or something.....maybe even a reputable start-up.... Also look into MM banks if you are that set on banking as they do off-cycle hiring a lot more, which is what I ended up getting....honestly, banking sucks and I'm sure when you get your job you'll realize how crazy you were for wanting this so badly haha.

Apply to safety jobs, back office, f500, consulting. Whatever you do, just find a job for now and lock it in.

Don't go to law school, the job market there sucks even more. You might just face the same situation or worse in two/three years. http://www.slate.com/id/2272621/

Next spring, banks that didnt recruit might come back for leftovers. Hopefully you won't have to resort to that. Good luck.
