Based on my recruiting trips/ bank visits:
GS -- Solid offices, but nothing special
MS -- Has a cool building, but thought their actual offices felt a bit stingy/antiquated.
Citi -- New building --> dope offices
DB -- Offices give off a pretty old school vibe, but I thought they were pretty cool in that retro sense (the building is actually on Wall St), but idk if I would actually call them nice
Barclays -- I liked their offices a lot. Seemed pretty new and nice. Cool building too
UBS -- Solid office, but nothing special
JPM -- Nice offices. Comparable to Barclays IMO
RBC (controversial BB but whatever) -- Super nice offices comparable to Citi
Bofa/CS -- Never visited.
Seems pretty accurate but u need to work on your vocab kid

Anyway the nicest offices are easily Citi, RBC, and CS
It's not controversial that the offices are nice. It's controversial that it's a BB(which it is not).
Controversial if considered to be a BB, but WF's new NYC Hudson Yards office is nice.
CS offices are my favorite. Newly renovated, very nice, and particularly modern (i.e. no floor-to-ceiling mahogany). Great location, too.
Citi’s new offices are gorgeous. Outdoor sky terrace halfway up and corner meeting rooms with views of the Hudson on every floor. Also it’s in Tribeca, which is 1000x nicer than midtown.

GS and UBS have gorgeous newly built offices in the city. JPM in CW also impressive.
I’ll do it: In the City: GS: Really cool new office with a new building, almost looks like one of these super fancy restaurants with dim lighting some good views from the upper floors.
UBS: nice office and good art collection
BAML: Ok-office but good natural light flowing into the IB floors, cool rooftop terrace with a view on St Pauls, meeting rooms are also quite nice.
DB: never visited.
Canary Warf: Citi: in the ex-Lehman towers, where 2 of the floors are still for Lehman. Nothing else stands out, views are ok but not outstanding.
CS: has a pool so you sometimes see IBD folks sleeping on the pool chairs.
JPM: nice building with good views on the upper floors, you could see both east and west, thus has cool sunset/sun rise views.
MS: building next to JPM (for IBD at least), cool cafeteria but aging building.
Barclays: no clue.
Barclays is pretty standard offices, nothing particularly special but got some nice coffee areas with sunlit areas
The JPM building in The City at 60 Victoria Embankment is beautiful from the outside but I've never seen the interior.
Have been blessed to work at two of the nicest offices in NYC, CS at 1 Madison Ave and BofA at 1 Bryant Park. BofA Tower much more modern, stunning architecture. Worked on the trading floor and it was awesome. CS building is very classic architecture but the inside is very nice and modern. Best perk of both of these are that BofA tower is right on Bryant Park and CS is right on Madison Square Park. If you ever get a chance to leave the office, theres nothing like walking through one of these parks.
Loved Citi, Barclays, CS, Bofa, and also took a peek at wells in HY
Only been at JPM - will say that JPM has such a nice space at 383 Madison (beautiful lobby and great client floors)- excited to see what the new HQ office will look like (is expected to be one of the tallest/largest office buildings in NYC)
Will IBD be moving from 383 Madison to the new HQ tower (270 Park?) once it's finished?
During my summer I got conflicting info regarding that. Some say everyone will move to the new building and they will sell 383- some say that is not the plan.

Yes agreed. Assuming you're talking about 383 Madison. It's the old Bear Stearns building and the interiors are super old and ugly. They recently renovated the lobby though and the executive/client floors are super nice, but the bullpen is downright depressing

Yup, 383 is pretty bad. Not sure who said the JPM office was nice because that definitely hasn't been my experience.
West coast?
Lincoln has the best views in LA, hands down. It has the entire 66th floor of the US Bank Tower in downtown LA.

It seems like the nicest BB offices are simply the newest ones around. In London, that basically means its Goldman and Nomura (MS's in Canary is lovely as well). Think DB's new London HQ is finishing around 2022 so that will probably have the latest amenities/design when it opens.

Yes, there's a nice gym under the office, membership includes workout clothes and suit steaming, Office is nice but nothing special - their art collection is pretty insane though
Wells Fargo has Hudson Yards - enough said. I would like to hear some WF Hudson yards folks comment on it because although I haven’t seen the inside, the other corporate offices in the building are very nice.

HY Office is pretty sweet - we're in 30 Hudsonyards which is the 100 story one with the observation deck. We have the 60-65th floors in banking and the trading floors are 14,15. Super sleek and modern, if you've seen the pictures of the new Citi digs its more or less similar on the inside. Banking has sweeping panoramic views of the city and trading / ECM guys have a nice view of the vessel and that square overlooking the Hudson. Its just us, KKR, and WarnerMedia in the building, conjoined to the HY mall which has a ton of food options and nice restaurants + Shakeshack, Sweetgreen, plus Lulu, Suit supply etc - it's been super nice to be able to buy suits and pants and get them tailored on your way to get lunch in the span of 20 mins. 40 steps away is the HY Equinox which is pretty sweet but not "over-the-top" better than other Nox's like Bond St. The pool is nice obviously, heated to 80 degrees in the winter, we get a pretty big discount there too, regular membership is $300/m, Wells discount gets you down to like $220. That said, there isn't much outside the immediate 5 block radius of HY as of now, but tons of stuff going in thats due to be completed in the next yr or so - Urbanspace, Whole Foods, etc. We also get $30 for dinner, and uber home if you stay past 8, which is on the earlier side from what I hear about other places.
which offices have gyms / showers? and quality of gym? thinking in terms of getting a quick lift / shower in before going out, where you wouldn’t have the time otherwise? I know MS has a good gym at least many years back
heard GS has a 50,000 sq ft gym at 200 west
Citi has a gym and it’s dope, views of the Hudson / midtown + they give you workout clothes, just need to bring your own shoes. Only I think it’s kind of stupid it closes at 10pm - don’t see why it can’t be open until midnight or so for IBD folk to get in a quick workout if they have an early-ish night.
MS has the same situation. I think it closes at 10pm as well. Or midnight?

JP Morgan, PwC, and Goldman Sachs all moved to new/newly renovated offices in Dallas in the past 2 years. Each one is very impressive.
