Why did I get a superday even after not doing so hot the first round?
Genuinely not posting this to flex. I answered one question completely wrong, needed a little bit of hand holding for another one, and missed some more minute details on others. I am from a nontarget but have an IB internship. Interviewer said at the end I did fine but could refine more.
So I guess my question to people who run technical first rounds is what you think of these mistakes and candidates getting things totally wrong.
Happened with me at a boutique shop. Don't overestimate the competition. The behaviorals/connections are much more important
