Hi everyone,
I have a HR interview with William Blair for investment banking division coming up shortly, hoping somebody in the industry could provide some updated info on the firm.
This is my first ib interview so am I correct in assuming it will be all fit/motivational questions (why IB? Why WB?)?
Also, if anybody could provide any info on its European operations that would be great.

I can speak for London. The HR is very friendly, prepare yourself on why IB, why MM, how does WB stand out, deals, etc.

As William Blair is a private company, I can't get their income statement. Does any one has an idea of their net revenue for 2008 and 2009 ? Is it close to Piper or close to Jefferies/Houlihan ?

Granted it is a private company but most large professional services firms have that kind of information on their web-site. So go to WB's web-site >> "About Us" >> "Statements and Policies" and you can get the latest and greatest from WB.
